Eye-Tracking × XR Hackathon & Co-Design Workshop
An Eye-Tracking × XR Hackathon & Co-Design Workshop hosted by the Goldsmiths SEE VR Lab and Braingaze at the Ben Pimlott Building (BPB), GDS/VR Lab.
As part of the event, I developed a Game Design Document and working demo concept for an eye-tracking-based ADHD treatment game aimed at adolescents.
XR Hackathon
The hackathon provided an opportunity to explore how eye tracking and extended reality could be combined with game design to create experiences with potential therapeutic applications.
My work focused on designing a game around eye-tracking interactions, with particular consideration given to how the mechanics could engage adolescent players while making meaningful use of the technology.

Game Design
The primary outcome of the project was a Game Design Document (GDD) alongside a demonstration of the proposed experience.
The concept explored:
- Eye-tracking as a core gameplay mechanic
- XR-based interaction
- Game-based approaches to ADHD treatment
- Designing for adolescent players
- Translating eye-tracking technology into engaging gameplay
- Potential therapeutic applications of interactive experiences
The project allowed me to explore game design in a context where the technology itself — rather than traditional controller input — could become a fundamental part of the gameplay loop.
